The rosé sparkling wine is made from the variety Blue Frankonian, which is a specialty of rosés from Zlati grič, using the traditional method. It matures on yeast for at least two years in the Carthusian monastery of Žiče, behind the ancient walls of the Otakar’s cellar, in the peaceful, naturally cool cellar from the 12th century.
The basic wine gives this sparkling wine an extreme fruity note, freshness, and due to the terroir of the vine also a nicely soft mineral note. The first impression in the mouth is very pleasant – fruity and fresh; it feels light, young and drinkable. Another characteristic of the sparking wine are smooth sparkling bubbles. The aftertaste is nice and semi-long.
