The new red wine from our Premium Line – a cuvée of two noble varieties: Blue Franconian and Pinot Noir.
Both varieties were vinified separately. The Blue Franconian was aged in a big wooden barrel for 18 months, the Pinot Noir was aged in smaller used barrique barrels for the same amount of time. The wine boasts an intense ruby colour with a slight purple tint. The unmistakable fruity notes that define the Pinot Noir, are dominating on the nose, and they are enriched with a slight hint of pepper. The taste is rich and rounded – with soft tannins, pleasant fruitiness, fresh acidity and a touch of minerality.
The Red Habit is a sophisticated and harmonious wine with a well-structured character, suggesting a promising potential for the future.
